How it works
The widget shows Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha for today, in thirteen languages, with the next prayer highlighted. It loads from Revertly in a small frame, so your page stays fast, and it needs no updates from you.
The times are calculated for the centre of the town you pick. If your mosque publishes its own timetable, that timetable comes first for your community.
Questions about the widget
Is the prayer times widget free?
Yes. No account, no ads and no tracking cookies. Copy the code and paste it into your website. The small link under the widget points to the town’s prayer times page on Revertly.
Which calculation does the widget use?
The one each country’s own pages use by default: for example the DITIB and IGMG calendar in Germany, Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia and JAKIM in Malaysia. The town page that the widget links to explains the method and shows other options.
Does it update by itself?
Yes. The visitor’s browser works out today’s times and the countdown to the next prayer, so the widget is always on the right day without anything to maintain.
How do I add it to WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
Add a block that accepts HTML (WordPress: Custom HTML; Wix: Embed code; Squarespace: Code block) and paste both lines. The widget is 420 pixels wide at most and fits a sidebar.
Can I put the prayer times in my calendar instead?
Yes. Every town page has “Add the prayer times to your calendar”, which subscribes Apple Calendar or Google Calendar to a feed that updates itself every day.
