Overview

Revertly ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application designed to help new Muslims learn the fundamentals of Islamic prayer and practice. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Revertly collects minimal data, all stored locally on your device:

• Location data — Used solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. Your location is processed on-device using the Adhan library and is never sent to our servers.
• Learning preferences — Your selected school of jurisprudence (madhab), lesson progress, and app settings are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.
• Purchase information — If you subscribe to Revertly Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not have access to your payment details.

No Accounts Required

Revertly does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-up, no email collection, and no password. All your data stays on your device.

Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — Manages in-app subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt from Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Analytics — We may collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which screens are viewed, feature usage) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Firebase Privacy.
• Apple MapKit — Used for city search when setting your location manually. Search queries are sent to Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data transmitted from your device is anonymous purchase verification (via RevenueCat) and anonymous analytics (via Firebase).

Data Storage & Security

All personal data (preferences, progress, location) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store user data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Revertly is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information input.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can reset your progress and preferences from the Settings tab, or delete the app entirely to remove all data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
